Want to really feel the burn in your stickhandling muscles? Grab a used up roll of toilet paper, slide it over your hockey stick and hold it with your bottom hand. Now stickhandle for about 10 minutes, practice soft touch, quick movements, and controlling the puck around your entire body. You could also try some of these stickhandling drills.
I do this at home all the time and it totally makes a difference, plus it's a cheap training tool!
