Pittsburgh Puffins
The Pittsburgh Puffins are a recreational women's ice hockey team made up of women ages 21 to 64 with various ability levels. They play to learn and have fun! The Puffins began in 1998 and are a founding member of the Pennsylvania-Ohio Women's Hockey Association (POWHA). They compete in its lower division as well as play games against area teams and travel to tournaments around the US and Canada.

Steel City Sirens
The Steel City Sirens are a women's ice hockey association that plays out of the RMU Island Sports Center. Their mission is to develop women ice hockey players and have fun in the process.

Central Pittsburgh
The Central Pittsburgh women’s hockey team was re-established in 2002 to re-unite a core group of dedicated hockey players in the area who had participated in the first U-19 Women’s/Girl’s league in Pittsburgh. Central’s current mission is to give upper level women’s hockey players a new alternative in the Pittsburgh area. Central Pittsburgh is also a Mid-Am district national qualifier for the USA Hockey Women’s National Tournament.

Pittsburgh Piranhas
The Pittsburgh Piranhas Women’s Hockey Organization is a competitive adult womens amateur hockey organization that encourages women of all ages and skill levels to participate in ice hockey. Their program focuses on skill development, athletic fitness and team play in a fun and competitive environment. It’s a great opportunity for women in the Pittsburgh area to participate and compete against their peers.
